Tecina Golf on the island of Gomera, a short ferry ride from Tenerife is a spectacular 18 hole championship golf course. The Tecina Golf Course is stunningly perched on the cliffs above the Atlantic Ocean and from every hole there are amazing views of the Ocean the Gomeran landscape and Mount Tiede in Tenerife.

Scottish golf architect Donald Steel designed this course, using his wealth of experience of designing courses through out Europe, and the setting for this course can not be talked about enough. The game of Golf as we know it has been played ever since 1672 in Scotland. Since that time, it has become very popular. Golf is one of those sports that span a lifetime of playing “the game”.

Golf is one of those games involving ball play that does not have a defined field of play. The golf courses are magnificent but they are all different without even 2 being alike. This is pretty incredible since every other ball sport has a prescribed field of play.
